My heart is tied
with ribbons
that reach out
and weave
into yours
Tethered to you,
my rock,
for without you
it would float
far away
It would burst
in the atmosphere
lost amongst the
vast darkness of an
uncharted universe
Wandering aimlessly
alone,
lured in
by the glimmer
of false stars
Only to be
seared by
their flames,
charred by their
furious blaze
Fragments of myself
drifting in zero gravity
searching
empty planets
and abandoned moons
Seeking the feeling
of home and a
single taste of the
sweetness of
your love
You are my anchor
my home planet.
With you
I do not need to drift
endlessly in space
For I can taste
every galaxy
in your
beautiful
everlasting kiss
I can see
billions of
dancing stars
twinkling
in your eyes
I can feel the warmth
of the grandest suns
laying in your arms
and beating
in your chest
You are the
only universe
I wish to explore
for the rest of every
life I shall live
You are the lifeline
that rescues me from
being enveloped
by all of life’s
endless black holes
You are my supernova,
the radiant light
that illuminates every
corner of my universe with our eternal love
